This website forces me to choose a designer. I am not sure of the designer, I bought this dress at the now-TV-famous Klienfeld in New York City ("Say Yes to the Dress" show fame!). It does not have a label.
Beautiful ballgown dress with lace bodice. v-neck and v-back. Crystal and pearl beading throughout bodice and on lace bows--anywhere ther is the lace, there are also pearls and crystals hand-embroidered.. hand-sewn beads. off-the-shoulder sleeves. ballgown is a slight creamy-white silk satin that also is behind the brighter white lace, for an elegant subtle contrast.
There is a set of 4, 3-layer bows along the back where the train buttons up at the base of the bodice. Also there are 8 floral lace appliques around the base of the train, each with a 3-tier ribbon detail.
On the vey bottonm of the train (in the back) there is a slight light brown smudge 1"x1" which is not noticeable when the dress is worn. One of the floral appliques at the train's base is missing a piece of ribbon and the other 2 ribbons for the layer under the flower needs to be re-sewn on.
Check out the movie Wolf of Wall Street as the actress is wearing a very similar looking dress. Also, the 2022 Disney Princess bridal collection has an off-the shoulder one that is a very similar look. This is a timeless, ballgown style!
