This dress is just lovely. It's breezy and loose, but meets at your waist so there is form but no clinginess or tightness. The material is 100% polyester (I did not see polyester as an option in the material's list, so I chose chiffon because it has the light sheer fabric, as chiffon does.) The halter ties at the back of the neck, so you can adjust the fitting. The back is open meeting at your lower back, but enough coverage that you can wear a bra and the back won't show (I wore a strapless bra and had the material taken in to cover.) I also had the dress hemmed, it was yards too long. I am 5' 8.5" and wore Madewell heels about an inch tall, it was enough to walk confidently and dannnce while still having the floor length style. The length would be perfect for a few inches shorter or taller, depending on your style preference. The color is called "Show Me the Ring Crisp" on their website (it looks white online, though it is not) - it is a neutral color with a hint of a dusty gray-lavender. My photos depict the color accurately. The dress is in pristine condition; no colorations, pull, tears. It's ready to party. I had so much fun in this dress, I hope you do too!
