Revelry Dakota Dress in velvet, Dusty Rose, Size 4, Petite
Unfortunately a wedding I was supposed to be in this fall was cancelled. I loved the process at Revelry, I was able to try on 6 different dress styles before purchasing the Dakota Dress in velvet. I am I love with this dress! I am very sad that I wont be able to wear this dress.
Per the wedding/bride, I ordered it in the “dusty rose” color. It is beautiful. However, this dress is not something that I’d wear “again” as it was a bridesmaid dress, specifically for my friend’s wedding. Now that the wedding is off, and since Revelry is made to order – I cannot return the dress. It has never been worn, brand new, tags still on. I purhased for $189.00 + tax/shipping, so it was well over $200, and I am looking to sell for $150.
The Dakota is a flawless style in our velvet collection perfect for a wide range of body types. It has a beautiful V neckline with built-in cups and is fitted to accentuate your curves in all the right places. The back features a fancy draped scoop that touches above the waist. I LOVE the back!
The thick straps make this dress much more supportive compared to others I’ve worn with spaghetti straps
The velvet is comfy & surprisingly stretchy
The scoop neck is absolutely stunning
The style/comfort and honestly, the back scoop – were the major selling points for me. If you have a wedding coming up, this dress is PERFECT for that. The fabric is beautiful and would be very easy to hem.
