I had the dress tailored to fit my bust and waist measurements. It was taken in slightly around the bust and waist to make it nice and tight to avoid needing to pull it up . It was also taken up (5'9 with shoes) but with hem that can be let down easily to make it even longer if needed. I also had padding sewed into the bra.
